The time has come for our annual Spring Concert, and this year we're presenting SFU Choir on the Big Screen. This concert will feature music from your favourite movies, TV shows, and even video games, including:

• Skyrim
• Lord of the Rings
• Game of Thrones
• Amadeus
• 1492: Conquest of Paradise
• Civilization IV

and much more.

When: Friday, April 13th and Saturday, April 14th at 7:30pm

Our semi-annual Choir Retreat is THIS WEEKEND.

• When: Sunday, February 5th
• 10:00am - 5:00pm please arrive on time, and ready to start
• Where: EDB 7600 (Education Building - head north through the doors to the left of the AQ Renaissance Coffee, down the stairs on the right, and it's the first door on your right)
• Dress: Pyjamas - with a prize to the best. Bunny slippers encouraged. Evil bunny slippers heavily encouraged!
  

The SFU Choir's annual Winter Concert is coming up, and this year we will be performing the beautiful and enigmatic Requiem by John Rutter. Featuring the SFU Choir, a chamber orchestra, and Soprano soloist Gillian Ramsay, this is an event not to be missed.

When: Friday, December 2nd at 7:30pm

So, we're almost ready to begin another fabulous term of amazing music and fun shenanigans, tom foolery, and dare I say ballyhoo?

The first choir rehearsal is booked and ready to go.

When: Thursday, September 15th, 5:30pm
Where: SFU Burnaby, Education Building Room 7610
(Education Building is Directly to the North of the AQ, entrance to the left of Renaissance Coffee on the 3rd floor concourse)
What: Bring a pencil, choir dues, and a TENOR!*

*People without tenors will be admitted, but please try to find one anyway!

Time for our semi-annual choir retreat of music and awesome!

This is a chance for us to get through a TON of the music, as well as a great opportunity to meet other choir members, have fun, and win GLITTERING PRIZES! This is an official rehearsal, so please make every attempt to attend, even if only for a few hours, or tell you section leader why you can't attend.

Christmas is done, the New Year is here, and hopefully everyone is not too hungover ready for a new semester and another choir term!

Because of the weird school schedule this year, clubs days aren't until the 18th-20th of Jan, and so the first rehearsal is January 20th.

Please bring a pencil, your choir deposit and dues, and TENORS!!!

Rehearsals are still Thursdays at 5:30, but the location has changed. Education is booked, so rehearsals will likely be in Images Theatre, but we will confirm as soon as we hear from the SFSS.

There's a chill in the air and snow on the mountain, so that must mean it's almost time for the end of term, and our annual winter concert.

So, for all those of you who missed our recent earth-shattering performance of the Dr Horrible's Sing Along Blog medley, and our fabulous youtube recordings are not enough, we will be performing it again!

So, school is finally back is session, classes are running, clubs days starts tomorrow, and so that must mean that choir practice is back!

So, it's nearly back to school time *cue music* and what does that mean?

CHOIR IS COMING BACK!!!

Yes, I've missed the heck out of all of you, and am excited for another crazy term of great music making.
